The Diary Of Polluting Thoughts

Updated: Jun 14, 2021

Have we ever thought about why it is so important to live in a pollution-free environment? I'm sure most of us would have. If you haven't let me talk about this, it helps our body organs to function correctly as well as increase our life span. But what if you have access to the clean air yet your thoughts aren't neat or are polluting? Then will the clean air be able to show its magic? No, because pollution of the mind can have the same impact or far worse effects on our body. Negative thoughts can lead to Heart Diseases, type-II diabetes, depression, anxiety, stroke and others.

Negative thoughts lead to hazy thinking which acts as a breeding ground for headaches. This headache leads to loss of focus which results in awful precision and accuracy. That makes us prone to obesity and damages self-confidence because, as and when we lose our concentration, we fail to acknowledge the amount of food we consume and we carve for more food. Also, loss of concentration and focus results in terrible work which acts as a crucial reason for the loss of self-confidence.

Polluting thoughts not only affect us but also people around us. When we pollute our thoughts, our hormones too can go haywire. Negative thoughts can make us feel that we have hit rock bottom in our life. It can result in frustration and anger. When we are frustrated, we are mostly going to behave rudely with the people around us. That can result in our relations getting barmy with those people.

Manly hall author, lecturer, astrologer and mystic by profession once told: "An unhealthy mind, even in a healthy body, will ultimately destroy health." Now you might be thinking about what can cause an unhealthy mind. Let me bring it up for you. What can be the cause of an ailing body? The answer is simple junk food. Similarly, polluting thoughts can harm our body and mind more than junk food.

The polluting thoughts will not only give similar effects to that we get on the consumption of junk food but also add some more disorders.

A person with polluting thoughts not only turns bitter to the people around them but also tries to find mistakes in themselves. Their emotional quotient also drops day by day. People likely hate to stay close to negative and annoyed people. That results in people with negative thoughts getting lonely. That in exchange starts the vicious cycle of anxiety and depression.

Thus, it is the need of the hour that we try to get rid of thought pollution or else it will make sure that society gets rid of us. Meditation and gratitude are two best practices that can help anyone focus on positivity instead of negativity. Maintaining a mood checker (look out for my next post and you will find it attached).
